Subscriptions

What is the Blind Date w/ a Book Subscription?

Each month you'll receive a surprise paperback in your selected genre (Romance, Fantasy, Thriller, or a Surprise Me mix). Every package includes monthly-themed wrapping and a curated assortment of bookish extras such as stickers, trope tickets, bookmarks, page holders, or seasonal treats. Exact items rotate monthly.

How do I choose my genre?

You choose your genre at checkout.

This preference will automatically carry over to each monthly renewal.

At this time, genres cannot be changed automatically through the customer portal.

If you’d like to switch genres for your future boxes, simply reach out to me at readandrallystudio@gmail.com or through the website contact form. I’m always happy to update it manually for you.

Billing Cycles

When you subscribe, you’re purchasing the next month’s box. All subscriptions purchased between the 1st–31st of any month ship between the 1st–7th of the following month. Your subscription renews on the same date every month based on when you signed up, and each renewal applies to the next month’s shipment.

Each renewal will bill $35 + $5 shipping, totaling $40.

Cancellations must be made before your billing date.

When will my subscription ship?

All subscription packages ship between the 1st–7th of each month.

All subscription shipments have a flat $5 delivery rate.

New subscribers who join after the cutoff begin the following month.

Are subscriptions refundable?

No. Due to the surprise, curated nature of blind date books, subscription shipments are final sale and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged for preference or duplicates.

If your package arrives damaged, please email us within 7 days.

Pre-Orders

What are pre-orders

A pre-order is a purchase for an item that is not yet in stock but is expected to arrive at a future date. By purchasing, you’re reserving your copy in advance.

Release dates are provided by the publisher, distributor, or author and may change.

Payment for Pre-Orders

Depending on the title, you may:

Pay in full at checkout, OR

Have your payment method securely stored and charged once the item is ready to ship

You will always see which option applies at checkout.

Shipping w/ Pre-orders

Shipping begins as soon as pre-order inventory arrives at our studio.

Mixed carts (pre-order + in-stock items):

All items ship together when the pre-order item arrives, unless otherwise stated on the listing.

If you need in-stock items sooner, please place a separate order.

Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

You may request cancellation only if the pre-order has NOT begun processing.

Once the item is:
-in transit to us
-already delivered to us
-being prepared for your shipment
-or already shipped

…it becomes final sale and cannot be canceled or refunded.

This protects us from non-refundable wholesale costs and ensures fairness to all customers.

REFUNDS & RETURNS

Pre-orders are final sale once processing begins.

If your item arrives damaged, please email readandrallystudio@gmail.com within 7 days with photos and your order number.

We will assist with a replacement, refund, or solution based on availability.

Orders

When will my order ship?

In-stock items usually ship 7-10 business days and handmade items usually process within 10-14 business days. Orders ship once all items in your order are ready - including any pre-orders or restock items. Thanks for your patience (and yes, it’ll be worth the wait)!

Do you offer local pickup or event pickup?

Yes! If you're attending a market where I’m vending, I’d be happy to bring your order for pickup — just message me on Instagram or email me before ordering so we can coordinate.

I also offer local drop-off within 12 miles of Lusby, MD for a $2 fee. This selection will be available to you on checkout if you are within the radius.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

All sales are final. If something arrives damaged or incorrect, contact me within 7 days and I’ll make it right. Books and handmade goods are non-returnable unless there’s an issue.

Will sold out items be restocked?

Some will, some won’t. Follow @readandrallystudio on Instagram for shop updates, sneak peeks, and restock announcements.

Sticker Only Orders

Orders that contain only stickers will ship for free, but please note, tracking will no be provided. To keep costs low, we use FCM shipping which does not provide tracking services.

Read and Rally Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen mail once items are handed to USPS.

Cancellations

Orders for in-stock items may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase as long as the order has not entered processing or shipped.

Once an order begins processing, is packaged, or has been handed off to the carrier, it cannot be canceled or refunded.

Because many items in our shop are handmade or printed to order, cancellations after production begins are not eligible for refunds.

If you need help with an order, email us at readandrallystudio@gmail.com with your order number.

Products & Studio

How are your products made?

Each item is designed (or printed under license), sliced, and 3D printed in-house using FDM (fused deposition modeling) technology. I finish, clean, and inspect every item by hand to ensure quality before packaging. Some products are laser-engraved or hand-assembled to complete the look!

Where are your items made?

All products are made in my home studio in Southern Maryland. Every piece is printed, packed, and shipped by me with care — thank you for supporting a small business!

Where do you source your materials?

I source materials from a variety of trusted suppliers — both local and global — to balance quality, creativity, and affordability.

  • comes from U.S.-based suppliers like Inland, Polymaker, and Micro Center.
  • are purchased from small businesses in Texas.
  • are sourced from a supplier in Pennsylvania.
  • international vendors or online marketplaces like Amazon.

While I aim to support small and local suppliers, when possible, I also use what’s accessible and reliable to keep things running smoothly — and to bring you the best product at a fair price.

What materials do you use for 3D printing?

I primarily use PLA filament — a plant-based, eco-friendly material derived from renewable resources. PLA is lightweight, durable, and biodegradable under industrial conditions, making it a sustainable choice for creative printing.

I also use specialty filaments like silk, matte, and marble to bring extra character and charm to certain designs.

Do you design your own products?

Many of the items in my shop are original designs created by me — especially laser-engraved goods, signs, and custom decor. For 3D-printed items, I use a mix of my own designs and commercially licensed files from trusted creators.

I am an authorized seller with commercial licenses to print and sell physical products designed by:

Craftykid3D

Cinderwing34

Sugarpaws3D

Layers in Green

3DJPDesigns

Each licensed item is printed by me and sold under proper permissions. I do not resell or distribute digital files — just the finished, handmade pieces.

Are the books in your shop new?

Yes! All books sold through Read and Rally Studio are brand-new and unread. I source them directly from reputable distributors or publishers, and each book is carefully handled and stored to ensure it arrives in excellent condition.

You won’t find used or secondhand books here — just fresh, shelf-ready reads for your collection or gifting.

Are your products heat sensitive?

Most of my 3D-printed products are made from PLA, a heat-sensitive material. Avoid exposing them to extreme heat, such as hot cars, heaters, or direct sunlight for prolonged periods. PLA may warp above 120°F (50°C).

Are your products safe for children?

Unless specifically marked as child-safe, most items in the shop are not intended for young children due to small parts or sharp edges. These products are decorative or functional for teens/adults. Please use your own discretion.
